Midlife crisis happens to many, often between the ages of 35 and 55. A midlife crisis is an experience that is a combination of feelings, events and physical changes that indicate a transformation is at hand. Most people who can come to terms with these changes, usually weather the transition without too much challenges. But some individuals may feel overwhelmed by signs of aging, are stressed, anxious, depressed, easily irritated, angry, or feel not able to cope with what is going on.
This seminar will help counselors, people-helpers and individuals to be aware of what is going on, and how to embrace these changes. Participants will understand the cause of the stress and discover new ways to manage and make new meanings to enhance the next half of their lives and also for others whom they want to help. It is our hope that these times of crisis will offer an opportunity to allow something new, beautiful and empowering to emerge - the new and wiser version of oneself who is able to discern God's plan and purposes for the next half of their lives.
